People Buy Homes

1People buy homes.  People know people who buy homes.  People help people buy homes.  That is why my main prospecting strategy for selling homes is to talk to as many people as possible.  Here are my tactics:

People Buy Homes – I spend at least 3 hours a day calling potential buyers.  I call For Sale By Owners.  I call Expired Listings.  I call Current Listings.  I simply ask all of them, “Where are you looking to buy?”  Guess what, I have a home available there, would this work for you.  I am actually calling buyers looking for the homes that I am selling.  It works.

People Know People Who Buy Homes – For every listing I take for sale, I call the neighborhood.  Always over 100 neighbors, usually 150-250.  People live in socio-economic proximity of other people like them.  So when I call your neighbor and say “Would you like to choose your neighbor? Who do you know that would be interested in living in your neighborhood?”  There is a good chance that they do know someone, from work, school, friends or family.

People Help People Buy Houses – Realtors work with home buyers.  So I identify realtors who have brought buyers to houses similar to yours, and I call them and tell them about your house.  Then I ask if they have anyone looking for that right now.

The more people that I can make aware of your house, the more interest I can generate.  The more interest, the more showings.  The more showings, the more offers.  It is a great system.
